Social Counselling Offer

 WE OFFER FREE CONSULTATIONS ON THE ISSUES RELATING TO:
  • residence permits.
  • employment and labour law.
  • social security.
  • health insurance and medical care.
  • family matters (marriage, divorce, birth, family reunification, etc.)
  • living arrangements.
  • communication with the authorities.
  • applying for Czech citizenship.

 

JOB COUNSELLING
  • employment of foreigners with different types of residence permit (including those who need a work permit)
  • loss of a job (rights and duties, registration at a Labour Office)
  • looking for a job (help with writing a CV, motivation letter and in case of language barrier also help with contacting employers)
  • situation in the labour market for given profession
  • job interview (rehearsals included)
  • employment contracts, rights and duties of employees and employers before and after the commencement of employment
  • validation of education

 

We provide counselling in the form of personal meetings on the CIC premises, by phone, via email and on-site.

 
WHO ARE THE CONSULTATIONS FOR?

Persons aged 18 and over, legal residents in the Czech Republic facing a difficult social situation, and members of their family:

  • people from other countries with a permanent residence permit.
  • people from other countries with a long-term visa or a residence permit.
  • EU citizens and their family members.
  • persons granted asylum and subsidiary protection.
  • immigrants with Czech citizenship.
  • Czech citizens whose family members come from other countries.

The counselling is for people from other countries who live in Prague, the Central Bohemian Region, Liberec Region, Ústecký Region, Pardubice Region, Hradec Králové Region, the South Bohemian Region, Plzeň Region, Karlovarský Region, and the Vysočina Region.

The service is not designed for people seeking asylum or subsidiary protection.
